Healing Childhood Trauma

Research indicates that survivors often disclose child sexual abuse at an average age of 52, enduring decades of silent suffering. This unspoken trauma profoundly impacts relationships, emotional health, mental well-being, self-esteem, intimacy, love, and a sense of purpose.

To address this crisis, CLF offers transformative programs to assist children, adolescents, and adults in healing from the enduring effects of sexual trauma.

Our Commitment to Healing and Rehabilitation

While continuing to support essential child rescue missions, CLF primarily focuses on healing and rehabilitation. The foundation funds the expansion of child safe houses, healing centers, and other facilities dedicated to the care and recovery of survivors. Through the Liberating Wings Project, CLF increases these organizations’ capacity by constructing additional rooms and facilities, creating safe and supportive spaces for healing. Culturally grounded programs combine holistic healing methods with training, education, self-defense, agriculture, arts, and music, empowering survivors to process and release trauma effectively.

An Inclusive and Compassionate Team

CLF is proudly inclusive, led by a diverse team spanning various ethnicities, ages, and backgrounds. Guided by values of integrity, equity, truth, respect, love, compassion, creativity, and community, the foundation remains steadfast in its dedication to supporting survivors on their path to recovery.
