That Heal

CLF Mass Events:

The “Gifts that Heal” project promotes prevention in Medellín and other Colombian cities through mass events that include theater, music, and psycho-educational activities. Art kits will be offered to foster children’s creativity and emotional well-being, empowering them and raising awareness about child protection and risk prevention.

Project Objectives:

  • Hold at least 10 mass events in different communities of Medellín and other Colombian cities during the first year.
  • Directly benefit 5,000 children through artistic activities and the distribution of creative expression kits.
  • Train 1,000 caregivers, educators, and community leaders in strategies to prevent child abuse and sexual trafficking.
  • Evaluate the impact of the activities on awareness and the emotional well-being of participants through pre- and post-event surveys.
  • Design a replicable model to expand the project to other regions of the country in the second year.
